Module 1: Mentorship and leadership

Purpose

This module introduces the intent of the program, begins conversations around community engagement and participation in group settings, and introduces leadership concepts and styles.

Learning Objectives

Mentorship from established leaders in the HIV community
What is expected of leaders and what leaders can and should expect from those around them
Knowledge of services for persons living with HIV and how to access them
Cultural competency for working with diverse populations
